For one of our customers we are currently looking for the following position for the location Erfurt:

Operations Manager(m/w/d) Battery Production

Framework:

• Company: Automotive Supplier (Lithium-Ion Batterys)
• Employees: approx 80.000 employees
• Location: Erfurt
• Scope: 40 hours/week

Tasks:

• Implement Production Management System for repacking site and be responsible for safety, quality, delivery and cost to meet targets
• Responsible for setting up repacking operation organization structure according to regional (EU) standards, and organize production resources per production plan to meet customer demand
• Drives Repacking Operation KPI from the higher level (regional) target and defines additional production and logistics target for repacking site, ensures their achievement and initiates countermeasures
• Ensures safety operation for repacking production and loads/unloading/movement handling compliance with safety, environment principles and transport, customs, ARD rules
• Improve product quality in accordance with the company's quality management system and standard process
• Monitor and lead the time management of each production process and continuously improve production efficiency
• Responsible for inventory control of material committee and consumption control, and control costs including labor costs
• Ensures SAP/standard system and MES setup for repacking site, including process for repacking production and logistics operations
• Develop and retains the human resources of the production and operation staff to maintain a qualified, motivated and productive workforce , training team and promoting a respectful work environment

 Qualifications:

• degree with Master or Bachelor in Operation Management, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management or related majors
• Excellent communication skills on all employee levels and intercultural competences and awareness 
• Strong Method and Leadership skills: Management Competencies (Resilience with positive thinking on challenges, ability to make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity
• SAP know-how, overview of analysis, optimization and capacity planning tools
• Strong English and German Languages are required in written and spoken language and Problem solving as well
• Nice to have Chinese language
